Adipotide in research
Adipotide is a chimeric peptidomimetic combining a CKGGRAKDC prohibitin-binding sequence with a D-amino-acid (KLAKLAK)2 proapoptotic motif. Published research has examined the construct in animal models for white-adipose vasculature targeting, with downstream apoptosis of associated endothelial cells in published in vivo studies.
Identity
Each lot ships with HPLC purity at ≥99% and MS identity verification covering both the targeting and proapoptotic motifs. Net peptide content is reported on the CoA.
Storage and handling
Hold lyophilized vials sealed at -20 °C away from light. Reconstitute with bacteriostatic water; the construct is sensitive to repeated freeze/thaw, so aliquoting before freezing is recommended.
Documentation
CoA, batch records, and lot-level identity reporting are filed by SKU.

Storage and handling
Handle Adipotide (FTPP) as a lyophilized research reagent: cold, dry, light-protected storage; choose reconstitution buffer per your SOP; plan aliquots to limit freeze–thaw; and keep the lot CoA with the inventory record.
Research framing
Use Adipotide (FTPP) in published model-system terms only — receptor family, pathway context, assay controls, and concentration planning. Do not transfer assumptions from adjacent peptides without a documented comparison protocol. Research use only.

Product FAQ
Is Adipotide (FTPP) intended for human or clinical use?
No. BluGen listings are research use only (RUO) for qualified laboratory programs — not clinical, diagnostic, therapeutic, veterinary, food, drug, or cosmetic use.
What documentation ships with Adipotide (FTPP)?
Each lot includes a certificate of analysis with HPLC purity, MS identity confirmation, and net peptide content. Verify lots in the CoA Library.
Where can I verify the current-lot CoA for Adipotide (FTPP)?
Search by compound or lot number in the CoA Library: https://getblugen.com/coa-library/
What sequence is listed for Adipotide (FTPP)?
Verify sequence identity on the lot-specific CoA and identity table before use.
How should lyophilized Adipotide (FTPP) be stored?
Store sealed vials cold, dry, and protected from light per the lot CoA and your institutional SOP. Aliquot reconstituted stock to limit freeze-thaw cycles.
Can institutions request a quote for Adipotide (FTPP)?
Yes. Academic labs and CROs can request quotes and NET-30 billing after vendor qualification via the contact/procurement desk.
Where is the research guide for Adipotide (FTPP)?
