Identity fields to confirm before accepting the lot

BPC-157 is a 15-residue pentadecapeptide (GEPPPGKPADDAGLV). Confirm sequence, molecular weight (~1,419.55 g/mol), and lyophilized form on the lot CoA before inventory acceptance.

Match SKU, lot number, and CoA document ID before opening the outer carton. Photograph labels when your chain-of-custody SOP requires it.

What a valid CoA must show

A usable BPC-157 CoA reports HPLC purity, MS identity matching the expected mass, and net peptide content. Reject lots that only publish a sitewide purity slogan without lot-specific chromatogram or MS data.

Store sealed lyophilized vials cold, dry, and light-protected. Reconstitute per institutional SOP; aliquot to limit freeze–thaw. Do not infer concentration from gross vial mass alone—use net peptide content.

Use net peptide content for molarity calculations. Gross vial mass systematically overstates active peptide when water and counter-ions are present.

Documentation red flags

Any of the following should trigger quarantine pending supplier clarification:

• No lot number on the vial or CoA
• Purity claim without MS identity
• Missing net peptide content when molarity work is required
• Sequence or MW mismatch versus the catalog identity table
